finance major, but accounting internship. is it beneficial?
so im a sophomore and im a finance major, but i will be working in the accounting department of a marketing agency.
their job description says that it will be a finance intern but there will be some work related to vendor invoices etc….
now im a sophomore so that means i havent taken a any courses related to my major which is finance. i have strong interest in finance but i dont like accounting, i took one course and it bored me to death literally.
so i just want to know if this will be beneficial in the long run? i mean sure i got a job what do i have to lose? ill get experience, but will it do me any good?
